Blush Ombre- Ripe Peach

Okay may I just say before I begin that there is so much hype about this product which is going make you want to buy it straight away- but I can not stress enough that it is not that pigmented! You really need to build up the colour. Okay now I got that out of the way- on with the reveiw!
-Okay so this blush is what I would call a customizable, you could use the peachy end or the pinky-er end, or even the middle colour (:
- I find that thisblush has quite alot of shimmer when you look at it, but when I put it on my cheeks it doesn't really transfer the shimmer.
- Now I'm going to be brutally honest here...all the hype about this blush REALLY dragged me in- so I went to my local counter and asked the lady there which one of the blushes would suit my face the most, and she told me that Ripe Peach would suit my skin tone and what I wear (MSFN- Medium) so I got it- and to be honest I was so exited I didn't even really swatch it (I know- really bad). I got home and was so exited I decided to try it out so i grabbed my SS150 brush which i use to apply a light coverage of blush- so i got some of the product onto my brush and *nothing* it applied vurtually no product at all- Then I grabbed my SS168 brush and tried with that- 4 applications of it! You really have to build up this product- it isn't very pigmented at all!
Now Don't get me wrong I do love MAC and most of there products- and I do love these colours- just their not as pigmented as I would of liked them to be! Now I can't stress enough- If you want this product GET IT...I just want you all to know about it the good and the bad (Now I could get it to all of the good things- but I think I might suggest checking out xsparkage's video on youtube about the blush ombres- and I'm sure there are plenty of other reveiws out there!)

Purfume- MV 2

Okay I just want to begin by saying that I love this purfume...It's my all time favourite- and I have tried so many!! So MAC describe it as "Cool, Calm, Clasic. Vanilla teased with lemon, melted with lavender creame, then given a warming shot of vanilla bourbon, mixed with vanilla mousse and heliotrope." Okay, how YUMMY does that sound!? I mean I'd drink it (well- no I wouldn't- but whatever ;D)! Now I've got this weird thing going on with my skin that somtimes when I use a purfume I can get this unwanted kind of sour smell on my skin which is completely different to the smell of the purfume- now I don't know why this happens, but it didn't happen this time- I put it on and VOILA! I smelled like vanilla and beauty- it was such a happy moment! And I got several people telling me I smelled really nice (whooot!!)
- SO thats about my experience, on with a little indepth about the product itself.
Okay, I don't know about you girls but I had know idea what heliotrope was and when I read it I was thinking that it was some weird foreign substance- but it's compared to the vanilla plant "Classically, heliotrope has dark green foliage which is deeply crinkled, with lush dark purple flowers, which grow in small clusters. the plant has a very strong aroma which is somtimes compared to vanilla, and the scent tends to come out more when the plant is stressed by heat and lack of water". So thats a little bit about heliotrope (if you were wondering! - I know I was!)
Okay, so the bottle is packaged much like any other MAC purfume and it looks quite classy, but nothing really special!
-
Okay all, thats my little take on some of my recently aquired products! I hope you enjoyed them, and please let me know if there is anything else you want me to reveiw! Until next time- BYEE!!!
